Pratip's Mission
The immune system is a sentinel for almost anything and everything that happens in your body. It is exquisitely complex, with cells that are at once unique and redundant. Our ability to measure immune cells and their functions has been super-charged by amazing technology, reagents, and data analysis tools, developed in just the last 10-20 years.
And yet, the impact of this technical revolution has been muted by the challenges associated with adopting cutting-edge tools for research and the complicated path to clinical translation.
I've spent my life developing and optimizing new assays and technology, teaching about them, and working to simplify and clarify complexity. With this blog, I hope we - as a community - can work to make sure our revolution impacts scientists and ultimately patients everywhere.
